Description
This report presents in the first place, a description of the regulatory framework at the international level in relation to mercury and mercury waste. It also underscores the broad participation of Mexico in the international forums that address the management of mercury at the regional and international levels. It also reports on the situation of the existing regulatory framework in the Mexican Republic, including the legal instruments related to the storage and disposal of mercury in the country.
