This report features a diverse set of academic and broker studies that analyses responsible investment performance at both the company/stock and fund/portfolio level, including thematic studies which bolster the materiality of ESG factors. We believe that the types of studies selected provide a useful and representative sample essential not only to demystify performance, but also to have a good picture of the current state and direction of ESG research.
