The National Source Inventory (NSI) report is intended to collect available data in Cambodia on plastic products lifecycle and flows, waste generation, composition and disposal flows, and results arising from monitoring of freshwater and wastewater, coastal and marine environments. The main goal is to provide a basis for identification and prioritization of actions to reduce and prevent marine litter, identifying gaps, establishing baselines for possible interventions, and better tracking results. Following the main structure proposed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the approach is based on four key pillars, grouping data related to: 1. Plastic import, production and consumption; 2. Waste statistics; 3. Monitoring of freshwater and wastewater; & 4. Monitoring of coastal and marine wateren_US
