dc.descriptionThe GEF project entitled “Disposal of PCB oils contained in transformers and disposal of capacitors containing PCBs in Southern Africa” aims to reduce environmental and human health risks from PCB releases in 12 countries: Botswana, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The objective of the Gender Action Plan (GAP) developed for this project is to enable women and members of the other population categories mentioned above to benefit from the project equally at project intervention sites in the 12 targeted countries.en_US
