The Basel Convention Regional Centre for South America (CRBAS), hereby express our interest in becoming a member of the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership. Our organization is dedicated to the promotion of best practices in the management of hazardous and other wastes, with a strong emphasis on waste prevention and minimization. We operate under the authority of the Conference of the Parties, which serves as the decision-making body of the Basel Convention and comprises all the countries that are parties to the Convention.
