Description
El desarrollo de los indicadores en México se realizó de manera conjunta por la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (Semarnat) y el Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI). El resultado de este esfuerzo fue el cálculo de 35 de los 38 indicadores propuestos originalmente, la mayoría de ellos con datos que permiten observar los cambios acontecidos a través del tiempo. Además, en la medida de lo posible se incorporaron mapas con la información desagregada para mostrar la heterogeneidad al interior del país.
