Of all the sustainability challenges, climate change is one of the most pressing. This paper provides perspectives and proposals on the relationship between institutional investors and sustainable development. It builds on a Discussion Paper prepared for a workshop hosted by the inquiry and CalPERS in June 2015 and incorporates issues raised at that event.
