Description
The present report summarizes the results of this project and provides the data collected and evaluations made in a condensed form. The description of project aims and approaches is followed by a presentation of the established pollution source inventory which allows for an assessment of individual and total pollution loads. Detailed results are annexed in the form of tables and maps. Also, a review of waste management practices in Mediterranean countries was undertaken and its findings are provided. Conclusions and recommendations of the joint group of international agencies complete this report.
