This chapter considers the implications of the baseline and mitigation scenarios for the five main African subregions. The results presented build on the modelling approaches used for the whole continent to assess the potential to reduce emissions and impacts of air pollutants, SLCPs and GHGs, as described in Chapter 2 for the baseline, and in Chapter 3 for the SLCP and Agenda 2063 mitigation scenarios.
