UNEP OzonAction has developed a suite of resources aimed at integrating a gender perspective into the implementation of the Montreal Protocol, with a focus on empowering women in the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) sector. These materials highlight the value of inclusive practices, such as equitable workplace policies, mentoring programmes, and access to training, that enable women to participate fully and thrive across all levels of the RAC industry. By promoting gender equality and women’s economic independence, these resources support not only the fundamental rights of women, but also the development of a more innovative, efficient, and competitive sector.
