This 2020 Programme Performance Report is a companion to the 2020 UNEP Annual Report. In this report, UNEP’s achievements during the first year of the 2020-2021 Programme of Work are presented in greater detail, under the seven subprogrammes:
• Climate Change
• Resilience to Disasters and Conflicts
• Healthy and Productive Ecosystems
• Environmental Governance
• Chemicals, Waste and Air Quality
• Resource Efficiency
• Environment Under Review
UNEP’s performance in 2020, is assessed against the Expected Accomplishments in its Programme of Work for 2020-2021, allowing the organisation, its Governing Bodies, and its stakeholders to recognise successes, find room for improvement, and provide guidance for future work.
